It has been awarded two national experimental teaching centers: “National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Advanced Materials” and “National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center for Materials Science and Engineering”.

 It was awarded two national-level quality courses; a teacher won the Beijing Teaching Award; and 14 national textbooks for the “Eleventh Five-Year” and “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” were published.

Organized the establishment of the National College of Materials Science Experimental Teaching Research Association and was elected as the chairman unit.

Won more than 10 awards in The National College Student Metallurgy Skills Competition and won more than 10 school-level SRT and student laboratory contribution awards.
